If you are an organisation or project that is looking to involve young people as volunteers, there are several ways we can help you.

Developing volunteering opportunities for young people

  • Read through our information sheet on 'involving young people as volunteers' to help you get started on what you need to consider when involving young people.
  • To develop your understanding further take part in the 'involving young people as volunteers' online e-learning module.
  • Look through our useful resource list guide here. Two recent additions here are a 'preparing for young volunteers checklist' and 'the best resources for successful social media engagement in 2018'
  • For one to one support, contact your local Youth Volunteer Advisor, of if you are a national organisation contact Felicitie Walls at WCVA fwalls@wcva.org.uk

Promoting your volunteering opportunities

  • You can register your volunteering opportunities online on our new Volunteering Wales digital platform by following this link. Here you can use the platform to manage your volunteers and they can log their hours spent volunteering and earn digital achievement badges.

Connecting with a Youth Led Grant panel

Across Wales, we fund 19 panels of young people that allocate small grants to young people to design, develop and deliver their own youth volunteering and social action projects. Click here to find out more.
