We support third sector organisations currently delivering, or interested in delivering, European funded projects or contracts
We have three aims:
1. to increase awareness of the European Structural and
Investment Funds (ESIFs) and the wider European funding programmes
2. increase the third sector's engagement in the design and
delivery of the 2014-2020 ESIF programmes
3. improve compliance rates and reduce the risks of third sector
We do this through:
1. Information and advice
we help third sector organisations to identify the best routes
to deliver under the 2014-2020 European programmes (as a lead
beneficiary, joint beneficiary or contractor)
we provide technical advice, for example audit, simplified
costs, and record keeping
we act as a 'critical friend', for example through the business
3-SET has developed a number of information sheets around a
variety of topics. These can be found in the 'more information'
section of each page.
2. Training, networking and events
We deliver a number of courses, from What is European Funding to
Project Closure and Succession Planning. Our courses are delivered
face to face, by webinar and through WCVA's online Learning Zone.
For a full list of our training courses please visit our training
We also host regular information and awareness raising events to
keep the third sector up to date on EU funding.
We represent third sector interests, experiences and concerns
and raise these with Welsh Government on behalf of the sector.
